My journey began in the Nepalese countryside, where I completed my early education. In 2011, I moved to Kathmandu to improve my English and pursue further studies in Travel and Tourism at Tribhuvan University.

I began my professional career in Nepal’s tourism industry, working in several positions that helped me develop practical knowledge of travel planning, trekking operations and customer service. During this time, I arranged holiday packages and travel experiences for international visitors from the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

My experience allowed me to understand what travelers truly need: honest information, careful planning, responsive assistance and dependable local support. Driven by a desire to take on a new challenge, I established Lukla Heli Flights to provide professionally coordinated helicopter services in Lukla and throughout the Everest region.

As Founder and CEO, my responsibilities include guiding the company’s direction, overseeing daily operations, evaluating service quality and ensuring that our team maintains professional standards. We arrange shared helicopter flights, private charters, Everest sightseeing tours, trekking pickups and emergency evacuation support through licensed operators and experienced Himalayan aviation professionals.

Traveling and meeting people from different parts of the world have always been among my greatest passions. I understand that every traveler has a different schedule, budget and idea of the perfect Himalayan journey. Our team therefore works flexibly to provide solutions suited to each passenger’s individual requirements.

We are pleased to introduce Misson Pandey as the official representative of Lukla Heli Flights in the United States, based in Wisconsin.

Misson connects our Nepal-based operations with travelers, trekking groups and travel partners across North America. He provides helpful information and booking assistance to clients interested in Lukla helicopter transfers, Everest sightseeing tours, private charters, trekking pickups and other helicopter services in Nepal.

Working closely with our team in Nepal, he helps ensure clear communication and a smooth experience—from the initial inquiry and flight planning to final coordination.

U.S. Representative — Lukla Heli Flights

Sandip Neupane is an experienced sustainable-tourism professional with extensive knowledge of Nepal’s trekking and adventure travel industry. He began his career as a trekking-agency staff member and, through dedication and practical field experience, progressed to become a respected trekking guide.

In 2018, Sandip expanded his professional focus internationally, bringing his experience and understanding of Nepal’s mountain tourism sector to the United States.

Now based in the United States, Sandip serves as a U.S. Representative of Lukla Heli Flights. He connects North American travelers and travel partners with our team in Nepal, providing information and assistance for Lukla helicopter transfers, Everest sightseeing tours, private charters and trekking pickups.

Sandip is also committed to promoting responsible Himalayan tourism, developing international partnerships and raising awareness of the effects of climate change on Nepal’s mountain communities and fragile environments.

Pratima Bhandari

Head of Finance — Lukla Heli Flights

Pratima Bhandari was born in Sunkoshi, Sindhupalchok, and completed her early education in Thokarpa. She later pursued an Intermediate in Science with a specialization in Biology before earning a Bachelor of Business Administration from Modern Nepal College. In 2016, she completed her master’s degree in business management at Tribhuvan University.

Pratima began her professional career with a paint manufacturing company in Kathmandu in 2013. That same year, she established her own business in Sindhupalchok while continuing her employment in the capital. Managing both responsibilities helped her develop valuable experience in finance, business administration, planning and entrepreneurship.

Inspired by her passion for travel and adventure, Pratima entered Nepal’s tourism industry in 2019. She now serves as Head of Finance at Lukla Heli Flights, where she oversees financial planning, budgeting, accounting and administrative coordination.

Her financial expertise, business experience and careful attention to detail contribute to the efficient and responsible management of the company’s helicopter flight services.
